Quitting smoking can be challenging, but like many of life’s challenges, you can make it through with support from others. That’s where Quitter’s Circle comes in.
Quitter’s Circle was created by the American Lung Association and Pfizer with one goal: to help smokers successfully quit smoking. So whether you've decided to quit smoking, have already put down your last cigarette, or are supporting someone who is quitting, you've come to the right place.
We know that smoking is a complex addiction with physical, mental, and social components, and that quitting smoking is a journey, not a single event. Each journey may be unique, but Quitter’s Circle was designed to be helpful and accessible every step of the way.
Here on the site, we publish weekly news, resources, and tips aimed at helping both motivated quitters and invested supporters. Beyond articles like understanding the right time to quit, or inspiring videos on activities to do instead of smoking, we also provide resources to facilitate the quitting conversation with a healthcare provider. This includes resources to find a doctor or connect with one online.
With the Quitter’s Circle app, quitters can receive support on good and bad days, and supporters can lean in and help their quitter stay motivated with just a few clicks. You can also track your quit smoking journey, including the savings you are racking up from not buying cigarettes.
Don't forget to share your progress on Facebook or Twitter - on your personal page or on our Quitter's Circle social communities. We have fostered social communities dedicated to supporting and encouraging each other’s quit attempts. You can share your story, comment with your unique perspective, offer a word of inspiration or simply enjoy our daily messages.
No matter how you use Quitter’s Circle, we hope you’ll join us as you navigate the quit smoking journey, or as you support someone who is quitting.
